Non-Profits Ensure Illegal Migrants Get ‘Concierge’ Travel Arrangements

It is a good time to be an illegal migrant in the United States, thanks in large part to the ‘welcoming’ ‘open border’ policies of the Biden administration but also a number of left-wing, pro-open borders non-profit groups that are making life really good for those who have broken our country’s laws to enter.

According to Just The News:

Like travel agents preparing customers for a cruise, nonprofits working with the Biden administration have created detailed itineraries and information packets to help illegal aliens travel to wherever they want to go in the U.S., according to documents obtained by a Texas congressman.

Often courtesy of American taxpayers struggling to pay their bills during surging inflation, illegals are given free quality hotel rooms, plane tickets and transportation to the airport, travel maps, and instructions to TSA to bypass photo ID requirements, according to the documents shared with Just the News.

The prototype immigrant packets, which were obtained by Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) via a whistleblower, completely undermines previous comments from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who claims, incredibly, that the southwestern border with Mexico is “closed.”

In fact, the packet indicates fairly plainly that there is an extensive network of non-profit groups, corporations, and wealthy leftist family foundations that are working hand-in-hand to circumvent immigration statutes duly passed over the years by Congress and signed into law by presidents.

“The packet provided by Gooden to Just the News details a travel itinerary of a 46-year-old Honduran who entered the U.S. illegally in California, one of thousands assisted by the San Diego Rapid Response Network, which identifies itself as a ‘coalition of human rights and service organizations, attorneys and community leaders dedicated to aiding immigrants and their families in the San Diego border region of the U.S.,’” the outlet reported, citing the materials.

One partner, Jewish Family Services, seems to have arranged travel for the Honduran, according to the documents provided to the Texas Republican.

“The state of California, U.S. corporations and nonprofits, and the Biden administration are facilitating human smuggling and child trafficking in our country,” Gooden told Just The News.

“They are allowing these migrants, many of whom are unknown to U.S. law enforcement agencies, to board commercial aircraft, creating one of the greatest threats to U.S. national security since September 11, 2001,” he continued.

“It is time for transparency and accountability for everyone involved in exacerbating this crisis,” he added.

Here’s how it worked for this particular illegal migrant, via Just The News:

The Honduran was processed by a Border Patrol agent and while in ICE custody was likely connected to a JFS contact tasked with coordinating his travel. This included booking a free room at the Four Points Sheraton in San Diego, a Mariott-owned three-star hotel near the city’s Little Italy attractions, and a free United Airlines ticket to Louisiana, the Honduran’s destination of choice.

In addition, the packet contained a standard Department of Homeland Security I-862 form indicating his status as an illegal alien subject to deportation.

During Trump’s administration, when the country had a president who was serious about enforcing all immigration laws, that particular migrant “would likely have been processed for deportation through Operation Streamline, a policy Border Patrol agents credit as a successful deterrent to illegal immigration, which is no longer being implemented,” the outlet reported.

But under Biden, “the Honduran was given a premier travel service experience,” Just the News reported.

Republicans have held Biden primarily responsible for the mass number of migrants who have crossed illegally into the U.S. since his inaugural. On his first day in office, he signed more than a dozen executive orders, many of which overturned Trump’s border enforcement policies.

Since then, reports say that U.S. border authorities have had more than 1.7 million encounters with people who have crossed into the country illegally.

It’s impossible to say how many people got through undetected.
